Bristol Harbourside Development

Client: Crest Nicholson

The area running along Bristol City Docks known as Canons Marsh was largely abandoned for decades, crisscrossed with old rail tracks, scarred by derelict gas works and mainly used as a coach and car park.

The neglect was halted in the early 2000s when Crest Nicholson commenced clearing the site in 2004 embarking on a multi-million-pound regeneration programme. The range of buildings includes Residential, Office, Retail and Leisure.

Mitch Duncan was commissioned by Crest Nicholson to photograph the construction progress from some set points on the master plan over four years from 2004 preparing hundreds of images.
