At the bottom of Sion Hill, St Vincent Rocks comprises four early 19th century buildings overlooking Brunel’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.
The buildings initially built as a spa, then used as a hotel for 200 years before being restored by http://www.futureheritage.co.uk/ to provide eleven flats and two townhouses.
The photographs here were taken using a 4″ x 5″ technical camera with lens and film plane movements on negative colour film. The lens and film movements enable verticals to be aligned correctly in camera. Once processed, each 4′ x 5″ film is scanned as a computer file for post-production to final output as a jpg.
